- We start by inspecting and pre-treating stains by hand.
- Then, we analyze your garment to determine the type of leather, and
the overall strength of your garment.
- Your garment is then processed in a micro-processor controlled, state-of-the-art
wetcleaning machine.
- Environmentally friendly liquid chemicals are injected into the wash
cycles to help set bright colors, remove soils, prevent tightening,
and waterproof your garment.
- After the cleaning process, your garment is gently re-shaped and hung
in a drying room to hang overnight.
- The next day, we tumble your garment to soften the leather and brush
the 'nap'.
- Your garment is then lightly steamed on a form-finisher, pressed,
and brushed again by hand.
- The final stage is the finishing. Depending on the type of leather
or suede, we apply a clear coat to brighten colors, add a hint of dye
to touch up some colors, or completely re-dye your garment.
- Repairs and alterations are part of our leather & Suede garment
service.
