The history begins with John and Bryon
Heighington's great-grandfather, Herbert Edward, who did laundry
on British navy ships in 1857. In 1915 he opened Camrose Steam Laundry
in Alberta, after which his son Herbert opened a drycleaning business.
Eventually,
Herberts son Norman took over the business and started up in Prince George
the city's first commercial
and industrial drycleaner.
Norm moved his business to Terrace at a later date.

Currently, John and Bryon operate
three locations in Terrace. Superior Linen Supply on Legion avenue,
Spotless Drycleaners on Lakelse avenue and Spotless Cleaners, Laundromat
& Onsight Embroidery on Emmerson street across from the post
office.
Their brother Ken
and his 2 sons Shawn and Richard
own three Spotless Drycleaning locations, one
suede and leather cleaning plant, three laundromats and B.C.'s newest
industrial laundry, in Prince George.
